Economic Vitality Incentive Program (EVIP)

City of Reed City eVIPUnits of local government receiving statutory revenue sharing, such as the City of Reed City, have to meet certain requirements to be eligible to receive a percentage of the total revenue sharing appropriated.

This is known as the Economic Vitality Incentive Program, or EVIP. One requirement is to make available for public viewing a Citizens Guide to Finances and a Performance Dashboard.

The purpose of the Citizen's Guide to Finances is to provide a more transparent understanding of City finances by the citizens. The Performance Dashboard includes financial and operating measures most important to the City and its citizens.
