To provide those services, either proactive or emergency, necessary to protect and enhance the quality of life for the residents and visitors to the Reed City Fire Protection Area.
The Reed City Fire Department is comprised of twenty-three part-paid personnel. We provide all the services of any modern fire department (fire, rescue, medical, haz-mat, fire safety, etc.).
We are governed by the City of Reed City and carry an ISO rating of 6. We also serve, by contract: Richmond Township in Osceola County, Chase Township, and parts of Pinora Township in Lake County.
