Enjoy Reed City's Beautiful Parks

Reed City maintains four parks: Rambadt, Westerburg, Linear and the Footloose Soccer Complex. These parks provide a wide range of recreation to the residents of the City and surrounding communities. Thanks to funding from the DDA and the horticultural talents and dedication of volunteer Dr. Don Gogolin, and Rex Knuth, Ed Lazar and Fay Wilson, our parks are among the most beautiful in Michigan. As the crossroads for the White Pine and Pere Marquette Trails, the City has worked to build upon the recreation opportunities provided by the trails.

Rambadt Park Set in a quiet, rustic setting just minutes from our lovely downtown area, Rambadt Park offers a nature trail through the surrounding wooded area to the Old Rugged Cross Historical Museum. It also connects to our Linear Park which winds it way along the Hersey River and crosses it at one point with the "Little Mack Bridge," to the Recreation Park, which then ties into the Pere Marquette Trail. RV Family Fun! Open May 1 to the end of October (weather dependent). The Caretaker can be reached at (231) 832-2884 for more information. Spaces on a First-Come/First-Serve Basis. Additional information available from Reed City City Offices: (231) 832-2245.
