The Executive Director is responsible for day-to-day Chamber operations and reports to the Chamber Board of Directors.

The Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce is actively looking for a part-time Executive Director. Job responsibilities consist of 25-30 hours a week split between office hours and community hours. Must be able to work flexible hours and be self-driven. Candidates are required to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks, social media sites, and websites. Chris Ems Stepping Down

As of August 1, 2020, Christopher Ems has stepped down from the Executive Director position at the Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce. Chris proved to be a valuable resource for the Chamber both before and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to juggling his career and family outside of his Chamber role, he has decided to step back from this position and give someone the opportunity to continue to be an asset like he has proven to be. The Chamber Board would like to offer our sincere thanks to Chris for being a shining light in the darkness, and a strong pillar of the community during his time as the Reed City Chamber Executive Director.
