Reed City Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is a volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council.

The board adopts a Master Plan for the physical development of the city, reviews the Capital Improvements Plan, recommends zoning changes, approves plats and governs the subdivision of land.

It holds public meetings and hearings regarding City planning and development issues and provides recommendations to the City Council.
